It was decided suddenly on Saturday noon, that we shall visit the temple at Sholingar hill on Sunday (18 Sep). As planned I ,Megastar Nagesh,Venkatesham and Srini met at Tnagar Station and started our journey as early as 5 am . we reached the Arakonam station by 8am and took a local bus to foothills of Sholingar. it was 8.45am when we lighted the camphor before the Giant Hanuman statue and started climbing the 1300 steps of the "big hill" . megastar was leading the way and as usual i and venkat were the last to come. we climbed at our own speed with lot of breaks in between.megastar started his breakfast at 5.40 with 2 packet of biscuits followed by coffee then with whatever that came in the 2 hours train journey. then this was followed by Masal vadai, butter milk and juice while climbing the steps. we actually came to know the breakfast schedule of megastar. it includes three phases pre breakfast, breakfast and post breakfast sessions.
It was 10.30 when we had the Dharshan of Swami Narasimha and climbed down as fast as we could as we had another mountain to climb. the next one was comparatively small (600 steps) and we had Dharshan of lord Hanuman here. after having our lunch at 1 we climbed down and reached the station within 45 minutes. All of us tried our hands on throwing the ring on objects but none of able to succeed . the game was nice and megastar tried his best to get something from the gift but it was just out of the way. bad luck that we missed the train and had to wait till 3.30 to catch the next train.we reached Chennai central by 5.30 and megastar argued with us that we should have snacks before going home....finally we all came back by 7 pm . it was a wonderful and divine trip. the journey was tiresome but we are confident that only good things would result from our worship...
